Not only did he show my roommate Sumner and I some great apartments, but he also told us where the closest grocery store, subway stop, laundry place, and restaurants were in each neighborhood! "Before finding Next Step Realty (NSR), my friends and I felt overwhelmed by the infamous and daunting NYC apartment hunt. Coming from Chicago, San Diego, and Honolulu, we didn't know where to begin looking for a feasible, safe, and affordable living arrangement, nor how to effectively weed through the often illegitimate postings we had encountered on Craigslist and the like. But after connecting with our agent Mary Kirby at NSR, it was quickly clear we were in knowledgable, competent, and caring hands. After discussing our desired budget and neighborhoods, Mary worked to show us excellent listings. Our day of tours was made more comfortable with a provided car service, and the expected stresses of lease signing were eased with complimentary rosé! During the time-sensitive paperwork process, one of my housemates had to leave town on an unexpected business trip. Mary still made sure we had all of our ducks in a row, and was always easy to reach by phone and email with questions, providing us with clear, succinct answers. Next Step Realty exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend to all!"

"Spoke with Victoria on the phone -- completely effortless process from the client point of view. She had questions ready and it was all very simple. A month later, showed up and everything was set and ready to go. We had some trouble deciding between apartments and Victoria was cool to talk us through it and didn't at all pressure us (which surprised me, since every broker I know outside of Next Step has usually been pressuring the prospective tenant to just sign a lease, cut a check, and get on with it). She was available basically 24/7 when we had some follow-up questions and she went out of her way to help us multiple times. All in all, Next Step made finding a place and signing a lease a simple 2-3 hour process from start (i.e., the moment you realize you need to start looking for a place) to finish (i.e., signing the lease). Surprisingly painless and an actually rather pleasant experience."

"Liz Levison made the experience of finding an apartment in NYC both enjoyable and easy. I was very reluctant to use a broker at first, but Liz made my search much easier than it would have otherwise been. Both myself and my roommate were on a very tight timetable for finding an apartment and with Liz's help we were able to find the perfect apartment in just 1 day! Prior to our meeting, Liz had already mapped out approximately 10 different places for us to visit. All of them were located in fun neighborhoods that we were interested in, and they were also all close to a subway or main transportation system that made getting to and from work extremely easy. I was really surprised at that i was able to find a place in just a few hours of touring. If i had to do it again, I would without a doubt call Liz. I highly recommend using the Next Step service, and if you do I encourage you to ask for Liz. As I began the search for an apartment I was expecting it to be very stressful, but Liz made entire process seamless. She was on top of everything and has established great relationships with other realty agents that she was able to leverage to get us into our top choice. The platform and idea of Next Step Realty is great, but having Liz as our broker was the main reason as to why I had such a good experience. Next Step Realty is lucky to have an asset like her, and I highly recommend to anyone looking for an apartment in NYC to contact Next Step and ask for Liz."
