"Finally home sweet home and settled in NYC! My roommate and I had a remarkable time working with Matt Bauman and Next Step. Matt made our apartment search quick and easy, and especially working with us as international clients and with a fairly unique situation. Conference calls and emails to cover our necessities and wants made the 'day-of' apartment search a smooth process - FaceTime, text messages, and extra guests in tow. The locations Matt selected were exactly what we were looking for and within our desired budget and location. On site, he was great and patient to recap apartment details and remained very unbiased but helpful and professional. Once finding our new place, having Matt facilitate applications, paperwork, and agent communication really made the house hunting process as low stress as possible and enjoyable. Follow-up paperwork and welcome notes have been a nice touch and we'd love to do work with Next Step, but specifically Matt again! Love our new apartment - even as a 5th floor walk-up!"

"Margit Weinberg was such a joy to work with. She was very respectful of our wishes and was genuinely interested in making sure we had an amazing place to live. It was invaluable to have a helping hand in the, often harrowing, process of finding a new place to call home and I would not recommend a better person. Our new apartment has everything we were looking for and the view of the city is breathtaking. We were so pleased to work with Next Step and Margit, they made the search so easy, quick, and efficient and everything we received from them (including an amazing housewarming gift) was incredible. "Meena was a rockstar from the beginning on our telephone calls. Once we were in NY, we were able to see a wide-span of apartments within Manhattan in one day. We were very lucky to have a driver, which allowed us to avoid NYC summer heat - major perk. My advice to people moving to the city for the first time: use a broker like NSR, be honest with your broker from the get-go, and plan a trip to find your living space a couple of weeks before you officially move. In the end, the broker fee is worth it--trust me. I don't think I'd want to tackle this task alone as a newbie in New York. Thanks again, Meena!!"

"When I reached out to Next Step Realty after hearing about them through my company, I was connected Victoria, who was extremely friendly and helpful! She was very understanding and answered all of my questions promptly, and she even spoke with my mom on the phone to help get rid of her skepticism. I was nervous about finding an apartment I liked in my budget and location preference, but on the day of our appointment, we were able to see seven apartments all within my preferences! We ended up finding a steal for our location here in East Village. The whole process could not have gone more smoothly."

"My roommates and I were reluctant to use a broker since we're all three new to the city, but our broker Margit made it worth it 10 times over. We met at the office that morning and she gave us a list of 6-8 places that we were going to see, but once we got to the 4th apartment, we knew we were in love. I've been in the apartment for 2 weeks and it's completely exceeded any expectations that I had for NYC. Margit made the day so enjoyable--and most importantly calmed my parents nerves! It is 100% without a doubt that if I ever decide to move out of this apartment, Margit will be the first person that I call. Thank you again!!"

"Jordan Glaser was a pleasure to work with! He communicated effectively and timely and really made me feel like he was on my team. As a young professional is was a bonus to work with another young professional because he could relate to exactly what I was looking for in terms of my New York City experience as a whole in and outside of my new apartment.
