"Margit Weinberg made my apartment search in New York City as seamless as possible. We had a few conversations early on about what exactly I was looking for, and she delivered. Every place she took me to was a place I could see myself living in, and I really did fall in love with the one I chose. "Cannot recommend Next Step (and particularly Matt) highly enough. The apartment he found us has more than what we ever expected we could get with our budget. We're extremely happy with the apartment, the building, the location. Matt really listened to us and we more than checked off all of our "want" check boxes. He was also extremely attentive and organized through the acceptance process. There was a lot of back and forth between different parties, but he told us exactly what we needed to do and kept us updated. If we didn't have a broker, we probably would've given up on this apartment a long time ago. But we're so glad it worked out, and we thank Matt for making it happen."

"Michelle Calogero exceeded our expectations on our apartment hunt. I was nervous going into this process that there was nothing within my price range, but was relieved on the day of our tour to see that the listings we would be seeing were at or below our max budget! Although our search was limited to the Upper East Side, Michelle provided us with a wide variety of rentals that fit our basic criteria, making our decision that much harder! She answered all of our questions promptly and made this process as stress-free as possible for three girls who had just met. We were able to sign a lease on our selected apartment the day of our tour! I can't imagine moving to New York City without Next Step - HIGHLY recommended. "

"Mary was the best agent my roommates and I could have asked for. We are all new to the city and could not have found our amazing home without her help. She was great with communication prior to our arrival so we knew exactly where to meet and what to expect. "Katie Cummings and the team at Next Step made finding our first apartment in the city so easy! Katie hopped on a conference call with my roommate and me a week before we went out to see places and asked tons of questions about what we were looking for in an apartment, a building, and a neighborhood so that each place she showed us was a realistic possibility for our new home. We saw 6 apartments in one afternoon (in the pouring rain, thank goodness for those Uber XLs!!) and ended up applying for and getting the fourth one we saw! "My roommate and I had a great experience with Matt Bauman and Next Step. I was unfortunately unable to be in New York City for the apartment viewings, but Matt made me feel like I was right there with them. Matt sent me a list of the properties they were touring so I could look them up as they went along and, he made sure all the necessary paperwork was in order so we could sign for an apartment immediately. I don't know how we would have found our apartment without Matt and Next Step. I would highly recommend their services."
