Initially, the housing process was daunting on our own, but once we began communicating with our agent, Katie, we felt much more at ease and less overwhelmed. The logistics for the day of apartment viewings were really smooth and Katie was so informative and supportive throughout the day, helping us weigh our different options. She took us to a number of apartments across the city all around our price range. Overall, Katie made the experience really manageable and was extremely helpful with answering all of our questions. I would highly recommend Katie to anyone who needs assistance or feels overwhelmed with finding housing in the city!"

"I cannot express how thankful I am that I found next step when looking for an apartment. Sarah made the whole process stress free (and fun!!) which is amazing because I didn't think that was possible when looking for an apartment in NYC. I had a great experience with Sarah before even meeting with her to see apartments, she explained all the stuff we needed over the phone so we could have all our papers in order in advance. The day of apartment hunting was super easy, a driver brought us from place to place which made the day a lot less tiring than it could have been. We saw probably 6 or 7 places before deciding on one we loved, and got our application in the very same day within hours! Sarah was so incredibly helpful throughout the day, she had a clear vision of what we wanted (and what our price range was) and was on our side when seeing apartments. We really felt comfortable the whole time, and never felt like we were being pushed around to pick a specific place. I am so happy with our final choice of apartment, and we definitely would not have found it without Sarah. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sarah to friends and family, in fact I would probably do my best to convince them to use next step!"

"I recently graduated college and moved from DC to NYC. Next Step Realty was recommended to me by some friends so I decided to give it a shot after hearing some of the horror stories of renting an apartment in NYC. My agent was Meena Ziabari. Meena was so friendly and helpful and really made the whole process simple. She was very knowledgeable and was willing to explain how everything worked. She was very transparent in the positives and negatives of each place we saw which gave me more confidence that she was really trying to find the best fit for me. We saw many different places and I had my first NYC apartment in a matter of days. The turnaround time was very short and Meena was there to help push things along. The part that impressed me the most was her continued advice and assistance after she had already been compensated. She continued to answer any random questions I had regarding move-in process formalities, what size air conditioner would fit, etc. I would definitely recommend Next Step, specifically Meena, to anyone moving to NYC."

"My roommate and I were referred to Next Step Realty through a friend and right away they were so helpful with our questions. We absolutely loved working with our agent, Sarah. She took our concerns and preferences and set up a day full of great apartments and we found the perfect place. She answered all of our questions (even all the dumb ones!) and helped us step by step through all the paperwork up until we signed the lease.
