Sarah, my agent, had a phone call before we actually met in person. Afterwards, she really took my requirements into considerations when putting together a list of apartments that I should be seeing during our appointment. The searching experience was fun, and I was lucky to find an apartment that was within in my budget and convenient for commuting to work. After we decided on the right apartment, she still spent a lot of efforts keeping up with me, making sure that I have completed all the necessary tasks. "I recently had to move from Chicago on a very tight deadline. Knowing how complicated the real estate industry is to navigate in NYC, I was very nervous about finding the right apartment in terms of space, location, and price. I had previously spent a full day with another broker looking at apartments, but did not find anything that was close to satisfying my requirements and/or expectations. My experience with Next Step was completely different. My agent, Jordan, showed me about 6 units that were all better than anything I had seen previously - quite frankly, I would have lived in any. I was able to put in an application the day of and move-in by the end of that week. The entire process, from gathering all necessary documentation to moving in was seamless.
