"I would recommend Next Step Realty our agent, Sara, to anyone looking to move to the NYC area! As a first-time renter I was overwhelmed by the whole process, but I was contacted quickly after submitting an online form and had an appointment set up within minutes. I saw around 8 apartments during my appointment and really got a feel for the different types of spaces that would best fit my needs. After finding a place I loved, Sara did everything she could to make sure I got the apartment that I really wanted. During the entire process Sara was so helpful and communicative, answering my endless questions day and night! "I recently relocated from SF to NYC. I didn't know the city that well and didn't have a good sense for exactly what I was looking for. My agent, Margit, did an incredible job helping me find a place. I wasn't only able to come to New York for one day to search for an apartment and she made the most of it. She gathered all of things that mattered most to me and prepared a detailed itinerary with over a dozen great apartments in my price range in the neighborhoods I was most interested in. "I was stressing about my move to my first apartment for MONTHS. I laid awake at night thinking about how stressful the house hunt would be, weeks and weeks before it even made sense to start looking. I was absolutely miserable thinking about it. My roommate and I decided to give a broker a try, and we were matched with Sara Nardi at Next Step. She absolutely KILLED it! She was friendly, fun, and super helpful throughout the entire process, even after we signed our lease. The entire process was so much less stressful than finding a place on your own, especially because you get it all done in one day! At the beginning of the process, Sara called my roommate and I, and took into account both of our needs and wants when it came to amenities, location, and price. In one afternoon, she took us to 7 properties, all of which I would’ve been happy living in. When we decided on the apartment we liked most, Sara was even able to negotiate a discount on the rent, and a move-in date that worked for us. She was absolutely worth every single penny. "I am so thankful that I found Next Step they made my apartment search so easy! I recently moved from Boston to NYC for work and had a short deadline to find a place. Victoria was amazing she called me in advance to talk about what I wanted and what were my deal breakers. I loved how we looked at 10 apartments all in one day so it was easy to compare what I liked and what I did not. She was super helpful and patient with me when I was trying to decide between two places and even showed me them again the next day. Once I decided on a place she helped me with all of the paperwork and getting bank checks since it was my first time renting and apartment.
