"Next Step was absolutely fabulous in helping me find a place efficiently and relieving much stress for my big move to NYC! I got connected through Next Step because of a corporate partner. They hosted a webinar before the start of the summer which answered many questions that were burning in my head as I was about to start the process. After finding a roommate, I reached out to Next Step regarding setting up an appointment. They had much availability and were easily flexible to our schedules. Next we got to have early contact with our FABULOUS agent Sarah Minton. Sarah was amazing from the very beginning. Helping two recent college graduates finding an apartment in NYC is not an easy task. We had no idea what we were doing and Sarah was easily accessible, answered our numerous questions and was very patient. Her many phone calls before our appointment day helped us get set up and made our appointment day SO stress free. We saw many apartments all in one day and having a driver was so helpful. Sarah was understanding, committed and flexible as we went along. Since neither of us were from the city or close area Sarah pulled her strings and actually had us find and sign for an apartment all on the same day!!!!!!! This was nothing like what we were expecting. It was awesome to return home and have everything all sorted out. Even after getting us our apartment Sarah still remained in contact and helped us with move in questions! My parents were skeptical about having to go through a broker but after this experience.... they said we would NEVER have been able to do this without Sarah and the Next Step Team!!! We are very thankful for all the hard work, we are so happy with our new apartment! I would highly recommend!"

"My 24 year old son moved from South Carolina to NYC for work last month and had only a few weeks to find living arrangements. He and I spent a week looking on our own without any luck and finally scheduled a day with Next Step. Samantha was honest and responsive from the first phone call. She immediately spent quality time advising us and quickly scheduling a day to show us a list of apartments she devised based on his needs. We were driven in a comfy car following a logical schedule she arranged, all the while giving us her expert advice about the various places. By the and of our 3-4 hour tour we unanimously found the perfect apartment. Samantha then advocated tirelessly on our behalf through the myriad of details to secure it. She even went to the lease signing with him and obtained the keys earlier than the lease start thru her relationship with the landlord. We could have never navigated the search and transaction without Next Step and specifically Samantha. Highly recommend the process and wouldn’t hesitate use their valuable services again."

My broker, Victoria and the Client Relations team were awesome and I had a very positive experience every time I interacted with them. They made the process smooth and efficient. "I was referred to Next Step Realty through my employer, and it was the best decision my roommate and I have ever made! Our agent (Katie C.) was very friendly and helpful, and paid close to attention to our needs and wants in an apartment. "I just finished moving into my first brand new apartment in NYC. Moving can be a little overwhelming especially since my roommate and I were on a time crunch. Margit was in communication with us for a few weeks before the day we looked around - she put our minds at ease and made everything so easy. On the day we actually looked, we found our new home in 3.5 hours - Margit was amazing, funny, never tried to hide anything about apartment amenities, etc, and meant business - she supported us the whole journey. "Next Step was the best thing to every happen during my move to New York! I was referred to Next Step via my employer and was immediately connected to Jake. Unfortunately, he got sick a few days before our tour, but he told me he was replacing himself with Sarah and she was the best. That was an understatement!! Sarah was exactly what my roommate and I needed while looking for our first apartment. She constantly listened to what we wanted, adapted to our comments after each tour, and she was never pushy. Honestly I was dreading this process but we had such a fun time with her! In the end, we narrowed down our search to two apartments, but one was taken already. So Sarah quickly called the other one's agent, locked it down, and in a couple hours sent in our application paperwork! It was effortless! That was all in one day. I wasn't able to physically be here to sign the lease, which I was really worried about, but Sarah worked everything out with the landlord and had it sent overnight to my house in Boston. I also wasn't able to physically grab the keys from the landlord's office, but Sarah worked that out as well and arranged for me to pick them up later at the Next Step Office. If you have literally no idea what you're doing I highly recommend Next Step and Sarah Minton because I know for sure that I wouldn't have survived without them! They really went above and beyond. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, we are so happy with our beautiful apartment!"

"My roommate and I were referred to Next Step via our employer and from the beginning they worked quick and efficiently. We were connected with Sarah on the same day and she was a great help from the beginning. In one afternoon we were able to see ten different apartments, that all matched our criteria. We worked with Sarah to narrow it down to two places and she worked quickly to submit our application. After some unforeseen circumstances arose with our first choice, she was quick to work with the landlord to sort everything out and eliminate any confusion. She then worked tirelessly to secure our second choice and, again, worked with the landlord to make things effortless on our end. We could not thank Sarah and Next Step enough for all the work they did for us throughout this whole process, and we can confidently say that without their assistance we would be completely lost. We would highly highly recommend Next Step, especially Sarah to anyone who is looking to move into Manhattan. It is without a doubt a whole different ballgame apartment hunting in New York City, and with their help it was quick and painless!"
