"It's a really tough market to find a place right now but Marilyn went above and beyond to help us. We came to tour in person and Next Step was very accommodating, with a car service that let us see 7 places in an afternoon. Marilyn came with us and when we just missed the apartment we really wanted (people will sign on the spot right now) she found us a place within the next week that was pretty much identical in terms of price, size and location. Since we couldn't be there in person this time, she did a virtual tour for us and even had her assistant measure room sizes for furniture. We ended up signing in early June. Can't recommend Next Step enough!"

"I worked with Sophie Crocker at Next Step to find my apartment in NYC. Having lived in the city before, moving from Boston was daunting. Sophie and NextStep took all the hard work out of my hands, all the while remaining responsive and communicative about my needs. When I came in to visit apartments in person, Sophie showed me 6 or 7 places, all of which would have fit my criteria. The apartment I wound up with definitely exceeded my expectations and minimum criteria. I highly recommend Next Step for anyone moving to NYC from outside of the city, and Sophie in particular for anyone looking in Brooklyn. "
