But Bri and TJ at Next Step were fantastic, incredibly patient, and very understanding. "Margit was very helpful finding a place for my roommate and I to live. However, even after we found the place, she continued to help. We had a few issues with the building with them changing rules and some other stuff and Margit was with us the whole way, even after the broker fee and helping us find the place. "Thank you to the Next Step for finding our perfect 1st NYC apartment. My boyfriend and I had graduated from our MBAs on a Sunday and by Tuesday we had found our apartment in Murray Hill. Victoria listened to our requests and showed us all different styles and prices which helped make a decision quickly. We saw probably 7-8 apartments in a 4 hour period. We were able to reach Victoria by email, phone or text at any point during the process which was extremely useful. I would have given 5 stars except the process was a bit rushed and some details weren't clear and led to some misunderstanding in our start date. However, I understand this is the NYC realty experience, especially during the summer. Additionally, because of my new employment we received the VIP discounted realtor fee which was awesome! "Next Step Realty is great - I worked with Charlotte Perry and she was incredibly helpful throughout all of the steps involved in the apartment selection process. Charlotte went above and beyond and put together a great list of apartments to look at within my price range, then helped me through the signing process, and continued to help me with more mundane details like selecting a cable provider. Charlotte was incredibly friendly and easy to deal with, and was also very responsive to texts, emails, and calls, which really helped to smooth out the process. "My roommate and I worked with Next Step for our first apartment in NYC. We worked with Margit Weinberg and she and her team really made the process as smooth as possible. The initial tour date went well and we got to see a good variety of apartments. She also worked well with the lack of specifics we were able to give her. While we ran into some policy changes on the side of some of the apartment management companies, Next Step was always good at keeping us updated and advocating on our behalf. I would definitely recommend the company, especially for those looking for their first apartment."
