"Having our broker Meena with us was a great help. The apartment hunting process in New York can be very stressful so it was nice to have someone who knew the business showing us around. I doubt we'd have been able to find our place without her. She was great with at addressing out questions and concerns. My only complaint would be how rushed the whole process was - that put a little pressure on me but I suppose that's the nature of NYC real estate! "

"Next Step Realty was incredibly helpful! We told our representative what we were looking for in terms of layout, pricing, and area, and she picked out 5-6 apartments to show us during our scheduled apartment hunt. She helped us negotiate pricing and move-in date and was incredibly helpful through the payment/paperwork/lease-signing process as well. The best part was that we never felt pressured to take an apartment/pay a price that we weren't fully comfortable with (I've worked with brokers in the past who can be extremely pushy). Highly recommend working with Next Step!"

"Jessica Bailey helped Josh and I find our apartment. We couldn't be happier – we'd been talking about rooming together since we graduated college, and we were hoping for the neighborhood and style of apartment that Jessica found for us. "I had a very positive experience with Next Step. I worked with Katie after a recommendation from a friend, and she was great! At first I was concerned about the fact that there are no apartment listings on the website, but very quickly was reassured that this means Katie could search for and show me only the listings that were most relevant to my search, rather than misleading or unavailable postings that you might see on other websites. Katie definitely responded to the feedback I gave as we went to viewings, so that each time we met, we only saw apartments that fit my requirements and were improvements on the last. I would definitely recommend to anyone else trying to move in the most stress-free way possible!"

"We loved our experience with Matt Bauman and Next Step Realty! We moved to New York from Oklahoma City. From everything I had read online about finding a place in New York I basically expected our broker to take us to places that were either above our price range or only the top of it. To my surprise, everything we saw was well within our budget and near our requested location. We had a really fun day walking around to see each apartment and after we chose the one we wanted, Matt was extremely helpful in getting everything settled quickly and efficiently. After returning to Oklahoma City, we were in constant contact the next few days while the lease was getting figured out.
