"Our Next Step broker, Katie, worked very well around our schedule and provided options that met all of our criteria. She was flexible and happy to help my roommates and I look at multiple options even before we were entirely sure on how many roommates we would have. Since initially signing the documents, she did a great job of keeping in touch, following up, and ensuring that the status of our lease (and in our case, a condo board approval process), was going according to plan. Definitely would not have been able to find a great 4-bedroom without her help"

"I had a great experience finding an apartment with Next Step! My broker Meena Ziabari was extremely helpful in my search - she clearly understood exactly what I was looking for. I was moving from out of state and only had one day in the city to search, so I was very worried about if this would work out in such a small timeframe. Since Meena had found places that clearly matched what I had asked for I only ended up needing to see a few places before picking an apartment that I'm very happy with! Meena's assistant Sara was also helpful as she helped coordinate most of my paperwork beforehand, and walked me through all of the steps during my lease signing. It was also great to drink a glass of wine while signing my lease! I would definitely recommend Next Step to anyone looking for an apartment in the city, and I plan to reach out to Meena & Next Step again if I'm looking for a new place in the future."

"My roommate and I had an excellent experience with Next Step Realty and with our agent Katie. She was very helpful in getting us to have all the required documents previous to going apartment hunting, knew the areas and apartments we were looking at extremely well, and was very honest with her recommendations of whether the prices of any given apartment were fair. The helpful and young vibe of the experience really helps recent college grads feel comfortable and find a good apartment in NY right after college. "My roommates and I had a good experience with Next Step. We tried to go it alone at first, but the NYC apartment market for a July 1 move in is very tough. Jessica Bailey was great and helped up find something we loved on short notice. I definitely recommend starting to look at apartments early in the month to give yourself the most options. I had to handle the lease signing and other paperwork from 3 hours away, and Jessica was very accommodating and helpful, so if you're moving from out of town, know that they'll work with you to make the process as smooth as possible."
